About Curact

A meeting is not a moment. It is a process.

Curact is developed and maintained by Textalk AB. It turns recurring meetings — from weekly kick-offs to company-wide all-hands — into a continuous rhythm of preparation, participation and action.

Between sessions, Curact's AI agents gather signals from Slack, Trello and your KPIs, suggest what deserves attention, invite the right contributors, prepare the deck and follow up on what happens next. You review, shape and lead. You never start from zero.

During the meeting, everyone can contribute through polls, word clouds and questions. Afterwards, Curact keeps the outcome alive through summaries, decisions and clear next steps — even for colleagues who could not attend.

Curact automates the chase for updates — not the judgement and human conversation that move an organisation forward.

Curact turns ongoing team signals into a prepared meeting, inclusive participation and clear follow-up actions.
The living meeting loop: the meeting exists between the calendar sessions, not only while everyone is on the call.

Built on a purpose that began in 1979

Textalk's story began in 1979, when we helped create the world's first digital newspaper so that people with visual impairments could access the daily news. That breakthrough shaped a purpose we still carry today: to strengthen communities by making what matters easier to access, understand and use.

Since then, we have built and maintained platforms for publishing, accessibility and commerce — products that organisations depend on every day. We know what it takes to create technology that must remain stable, useful and relevant over time.

From live votes to living meetings

By the end of the 1990s, we were already exploring how digital tools could make communication more participatory. We launched Webvoter for live audience voting, followed soon after by Websurvey, part of the first generation of web-based survey platforms.

The technology has changed. The principle has not: people engage more deeply when they are invited to contribute, not merely expected to listen. Websurvey went on to support browser-based surveys, data collection, reminders, analysis and reporting for public authorities, universities, schools and private companies.

From complete editions to complete context

For decades, we have worked with newspapers and publishers to gather material, structure it and release complete editions at the right time — so important stories are not fragmented, buried or forgotten.

Curact applies the same discipline to the ongoing work of an organisation. It gathers signals from the tools where work is already happening, identifies what deserves attention and turns scattered updates into a coherent meeting — with the right topics, the right voices and the right context.

Built for what meetings are meant to achieve

We do not believe a meeting begins when the call starts or ends when the calendar slot is over.

Preparation

creates relevance.

Participation

creates shared understanding.

Follow-up

creates momentum.

Whether the goal is to align priorities, surface risks, remove blockers, make a decision, share learning, recognise progress, strengthen culture or commit to the next action, Curact connects the work before, during and after the meeting.

Built with the experience of a remote-first organisation, Curact supports participation across locations and time zones, gives more teams a fair place on the agenda and preserves continuity from one session to the next. That reflects Textalk's own approach to meetings: clear purpose, prepared participants, defined outcomes and asynchronous access to information whenever a live meeting is unnecessary.

Turning what your organisation knows into what it does next

Curact does more than help you run a meeting. It helps the meeting do its job. It is a new expression of a long-standing Textalk idea: technology should make important things easier to see, share and act on.
